Carl & James have been training hard for the last 6 months with Carl aiming for a gold in the European Taekwondo Championships and James having his sights on a PB in the Virgin London Marathon.
Carl won a gold medal in the IV degree patterns competing against 31 European countries with 800 active competitors. This was one of the largest Championships on record, and makes Carl the most successful England international competitor ever!
James had previously raised over £10,000 for two charities having completed the London Marathon in 2013 and 2014. This time round he set his target at £5,000 and smashed it, with his total amount raised currently at £11,580!!
He came in slightly slower than he hoped but with a smile on his face. Having raised this much money for Footsteps and AMMF, it made it all worthwhile.
The next charity event in the James Gesner Estate Agents calendar is the Footsteps charity golf day at Hadden Hill on July 14th. 156 golfers will take part and we are hoping to raise a further £10,000!!
