Well today I got to meet Lewis who was born 10 weeks early and has cerebral palsy. He has been coming to Footsteps twice a year since 2015. His mum told me he has made great improvements in core strength and said he enjoys coming to Footsteps. Lewis is a really chatty boy who can't wait for Christmas at home with his family. He really enjoys talking to the other children and therapists and making progress.
The cheque which was presented today to Footsteps for a total of £7,126.50 was raised in our annual Charity Golf day at Hadden Hill Golf Club in Didcot where 128 players took part and various local companies sponsored holes and donated prizes. This was the second year we ran the event and takes our total amount raised to over £10,000 since we rebranded in June 2015 to James Gesner Estate Agents.
In 2017 we have set ourselves a target to raise over £10,000. This will include the annual golf day at Hadden Hill again in June (date to be confirmed in the New Year) and James is running the London Marathon on April 23rd for Footsteps and AMMF.
