Gone are the days when if your property was at a certain price level you automatically instructed a National Agent. The Internet has now transformed how properties are marketed. Increasingly, enquiries are through the web. Whilst it is nice to see your property in Country Life, you the vendor pay for that privilege. Long before it became the trend, we offered to do accompanied viewings. Both vendors and purchasers prefer this; it leaves you free to look after the children or pets and us to show prospective purchasers around your property, extolling the virtues of it. Our offices are open 7 days a week 08:30 – 18:30 Monday to Saturday and 10:00 to 16:00 Sunday. The websites are there for you 24 hrs a day and updated on a daily basis.
On first point of contact with you we will take the time to listen to all your requirements. We specialise in matching the right person to the right property. Frequently, we liaise both a sale and purchase, at all times keeping you informed as to what is happening. This means keeping in touch with you, your purchaser, solicitors, other agents in the chain, mortgage companies and, last but not least, the mortgage valuer and structural surveyor. We have an enviable reputation amongst local mortgage valuers that when they need comparable evidence they come to us as their first port of call. They comment "If you don't know, nobody does!"
Most people do not realise that unless we can justify the price the purchaser is paying, it will not value up on mortgage i.e. if you need a high percentage mortgage, you will not get it if the comparables do not stack up. 60% of the work on your sale and potential related purchase is done after a sale is put in hand providing your agent is doing their job properly.
We invest a considerable amount of time and money in the training of our staff, with all of our staff qualifying in the relevant fields afforded to us by both the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and the Association of Residential Lettings (ARLA).
Helping to Support The Local Community
We regularly support local events, and in recent years James has run the London Marathon three times for three charities raising over £20,000 in the process. In 2017 we set a target of £10,000 for our chosen charity partner The Footsteps Foundation, of which James is now an Ambassador and to date in 2017 we have raised over £15,000!

We are extremely fortunate to live and work in such a beautiful area and, having worked with the agency for almost 20 years, James knows the area like the back of his hand. Having worked in both Wallingford and Didcot, James is one of the most experienced agents in the area. South Oxfordshire has always been an extremely popular area to live being in such close proximity to London with easy commuter links via Didcot Parkway.

Land has always been in short supply in this area and this has culminated in clients seeking our advice as to whether they have a potential plot at the side or rear of their property. Frequently, this is the case and we successfully deal with the planners on their behalf or introduce a specialist planner to them. Over the years we have been the preferred agent for a large number of well respected local developers covering a 25 mile radius. In addition, we have recently partnered with Taylor Wimpey who have asked us to be their recommended Estate Agent for rental properties.
